New Patagonia Essay!
First off, big congratulations to my brother Luke, who just graduated from Vanderbilt University with a history degree. Last night Luke and I stayed up until close to dawn talking on his front porch, and though I'm sleepy today, I couldn't be more proud of him.
In other news, I'm happy to announce that Worldhum.com just published an essay I wrote about Patagonia. Worldhum is a terrific website owned by the Travel Channel, and Worldhum stories often turn up in the The Best American Travel Writing anthology.
Needless to say I'm thrilled to see my byline at Worldhum and I hope you give the essay a read.

Hi! I wasn't sure how to comment back to your comment so I'll just do it this way. Yes, I am in High School and I am interested in Japanese. I'm a Junior now, but I actually took Japanese as a freahman. I would check out the summer stay you were talking about but I am enrolled in summer school so I can take a college course for English next year. Best wishes and stay safe!
